The 17th Biometal 2025 Symposium
Following the successes of the past editions, we are proud to introduce and welcome you to the 17th Symposium on Biodegradable Metals in Cetraro, Italy, from Monday 25 to Saturday 30, August 2025.
This exclusively onsite event will emphasize its academic-conference-style with an openly discursive format, rather than a lecture and question–answer format. This style will be completed by the traditional discussions and the unconventional daily free-time sessions early in the afternoon. Behind the presentations, this symposium aims to discuss open questions on the session topics, new approaches, background knowledge, and personal views among the participants. Furthermore, discussions at the poster session will focus on specific topics and will encourage the participants to raise critical questions or help each other advancing the field of biodegradable metals.
For those onsite, the historical and pleasant environment of the Gran Hotel San Michele at Cetraro, in Italy will complete the experience we intend to offer to the attendees. The location was especially selected for bringing the attendees in a new region, know and be inspired from the millennial culture, uncredible landscapes, the weather, the lifestyle, the surroundings, and the great millenary history. The conference will be held on the ancient Magna Grecia lands, where the ancient Greek mathematician and philosopher Pythagore established his largely know School for numbers and beyond.
Please join us in deepening our knowledge in the field and discovering the rich culture of this part of the world!
If potentially interested, we strongly suggest that you do not wait to the last minute to register, the number of rooms is limited, and registration will be treated on the principle first arrived – first served.
We really hope to welcome you at the next 17th Biometal 2025 next August!
